Reviews and Ratings
I had a great stay at the hotel. The rooms were good, spacious, and comfortable with spectacular views, and the friendly staff made my morning trouble-free. However, the room was slightly noisy being closest to the central area.
I was excited about the hotel's fantastic location, right next to the Waterfront and a quick shuttle ride away, and its really helpful staff. Still, the room with a view of the parking lot and the early morning poolside disturbance were disappointing.
My stay at the hotel was quite mixed. While the room was spacious and well-equipped, it fell short for hosting a business meeting as it could hardly cater for two people. Unfortunately, the room was not serviced, and being next to where they store cleaning supplies was not ideal.
I had a mix of experiences at the hotel. The rooms were generally comfortable and spacious, but there were some issues with the upkeep and service. While most rooms offer a sea view, be sure to book in advance if you want that specific view. I encountered a mix-up during check-in regarding my sea view room but managed to get it sorted out. Overall, the hotel has its nice touches.
The hotel offers marvelous views across to Robben Island and the V & A Waterfront. While the porter, Alpha, provided a knowledgeable tour of the room, some areas lacked warmth and invitation. The location is exceptional with prime waterfront dining, though issues with water leakage were noted.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean, but had some maintenance issues like an old, rusted bar fridge and an electrical cable hanging out. Although I had to wait until 02:30 pm for check-in, the staff were really helpful and friendly. The location was excellent, close to many attractions, but it was noisy due to the voices from early morning. The dining options were mediocre, with limited choices, but the proximity to V & A Waterfront and Cape Town Stadium was a huge plus.
